The Downtown Civic Center Master Plan is a collaboration between the community, key stakeholders, and staff to create a clear vision, action plan, and financial strategy for the Chino community that meets the City government’s administrative and operational needs as the City grows over time. The Plan envisions a signature Civic Center that meets the varying municipal and community needs, reflects Chino’s unique history and character, and reinvigorates the business and residential areas in the surrounding Downtown. The Master Plan was unanimously adopted by the City Council in December 2022.
Kamille developed base maps of the existing downtown and civic center area using ArcMap and AutoCAD and illustrative 3D massing models of proposed design alternatives using SketchUp and InDesign. She also attended several public outreach events for the project including pop-ups, workshops, and City Council study sessions, in addition to designing and managing the project’s website.
